GAN MENASHE
| Location: Kfar Saba, Israel | Category: New built – Leisure & Culture | Size: 1,000SQM | Status: Building Permit & Schematic Design
Located within an historic landscaped garden Gan Shaul encompasses numerous interests and associations. Privately owned, the desire of the clients is to pay tribute to a family patriarch and to create a public landmark that will fulfill a range of functions including children’s library, meditation center, reception facilities and a café. Perched on top of a plateau, the building emerges from among the mature vegetation and looks north & east over a remarkably rural landscape. The aim is to create a range of internal and external spaces that underline the relationship between the built and natural environment, blurring boundaries while highlighting the expressiveness of the built structure.
