GREEN HOUSE
| Location: Tel-Aviv, Israel | Category: New built – Residential | Size: 1,500SQM | Status: Completed 2010
Confronted with the closed, generally unkempt and unattractive facades of the neighboring buildings, this project aims to create an organic and living filter between the interior spaces of the apartments and the neighboring buildings. The green facade acts as a natural visual and climatic filter, thereby, redefining the external view. There is a certain element of unpredictably in the adoption of a living facade. The planting habits of residents or seeds carried by the wind, will introduce new elements. The seasons too will continually alter the image of the building, offering more light and transparency in winter and greater protection in summer.
