CABRI MUSEUM GALLERY
| Location: Kibbutz Cabri | Category: New built – culture | Size: 1,500SQM | Status: SD awaiting financing
Conceived as an extension of the etching center and Yehiel Shemi’s sculpture garden & studio, the museum gallery serves as an additional step in the realization of Cabri’s focus upon culture and heritage. Once completed, the entire southern ridge of the kibbutz will be dedicated to the Arts. In designing the museum gallery our principle concerns were its integration within the landscape and the blurring between constructed and natural landscape. As in the case of the etching studio we focused upon the use of natural light and the articulation of iconic forms within the landscape.
